This struck home for me! I, too, fantasized my childhood away, and spent much of my adulthood thinking about where I’d rather be than here. I’ve worked hard on being in the present moment, too. What I really love about the strip is that it captures how, as soon as I start congratulating myself for being on the present moment, I’m not!
Girl, just substitute the word “colorings”, for “dance/coaching project extraordinaire”….and it’s my darn story. Just tonight, I was sifting through my notes and mental meanderings on this project that I never quite get to, but think a lot about. …..And all this time I thought I was soooooooo unique!!

It’s so true that finding our way back to the present moment takes a whole lifetime. Wonderful.
